Chapter Seven
âI
t sounds like your night ended up okay. You and Dirk good, then?â âYeah,â Seb replied, grinning. âWeâre good. Still have a few things to discuss, but weâre on the right track.â
âThatâs good, Seb,â Lex responded. âIâm glad to hear it. Whereâd he learn about paranormals?â
âIâll tell you all about it when I come upstairs. Dirk has a breakfast he needs to attend, so Iâll be there in thirty.â
âSounds good. See you soon.â
Seb hit the end button just as Dirk walked out of the bathroom, a towel wrapped around his waist. âHmm, hello handsome,â he crooned. Seb watched a flush work up and over Dirkâs torso.
âHey,â Dirk murmured, smiling shyly.
Damn, thatâs a good look on him.
Watching a drop of water trail down the manâs pale shoulder, over his peck, and over the slight pooch of his stomach, Seb wanted to trace that same path with his tongue. He wanted to yank that towel away and lick and nip every damp inch of skin on his lover.
âHmm, you should come over here,â he urged, holding up his hand.
Dirk shook his head.
Disappointment stabbed through him.
âI see that look in your eyes,â Dirk commented, a smile playing around the corners of his lips. âIf I get anywhere near you, Iâm going to miss breakfast. Iâll get in trouble with my boss.â
Seb chuckled. He tossed off the blanket and palmed his thickening prick. âYouâre right, baby. Doesnât mean I have to like it.â
Dirk groaned, staring at his thickening dickâwhich only caused Sebâs cock to harden fasterâand shook his head. âYou donât fight fair.â
Even though Seb knew heâd end up uncomfortable, at least for a little while, he grabbed his jeans and yanked them on. âSorry, Dirk. I know you have a job to do.â He shoved his wallet in his pocket and picked up his shirt, then stalked over to his lover. When he reached Dirk, Seb wrapped his arms around him and planted a searing kiss on his lips, capturing his mouth possessively.
Knowing if he kissed Dirk for too long, Seb might lose his resolve to allow his beloved out of his sight. He ended the kiss with a nip to Dirkâs lower lip, then moved around him toward the door. âDo you have plans for lunch?â
Dirk shook his head. âNo. Iâm done at eleven today. I thought Iâd get some work done this afternoon,â he stated, then grimaced as if he knew how lame he sounded. After a second, he admitted, âIâm kinda boring.â
âIs your work something you need to get done for an approaching deadline?â Seb asked curiously. He didnât want to cause his human to struggle with his work, even as he wondered how many of the Vegas sights he could help his lover see.
âNo. I just donât like having to interact with tons of people, so planned to stay in my room any time I wasnât needed at the Comicon,â Dirk admitted.
âThen Iâll track you down before lunch, and weâll go see what mischief we can get into,
